OUGD601 | COP3: Tutorial 2 | 1-2-1 - 'Focus on Chapters within Dissertation'

For Tutorial 2. This was a 1-2-1 tutorial, the aim for this tutorial is to at lease outline draft chapters and are sent to the tutor by Thursday this week.

This tutorial should focus on a discussion of a draft of at least one chapter of the Dissertation. Particular focus should be given to Harvard referencing, critical analysis, triangulation, and use of sources (The skills that ILO 6B1 directly assesses). A discussion should also take place concerning how the analysis of textual sources in the dissertation can relate to the practical element of the module.

During the Tutorial:
Question - 'Is Sustainability in Food packaging actually sustainable?' 

1. INTRODUCTION - WHY NEEDED? 
2. CHAPTER 1: Outline different methods of sustainable packaging: Compostable, Reusable, None and Multi-use.
3. CHAPTER 2: Who is responsible? Designers? Clients? Consumers - Identity situation? Society & Legislations? Look into Victor Papanek 'Design for real world'
4. CHAPTER 3: Examples - Positives / Limitations: Consumption, Consumerism, cost of recycling/materials 
5. Practical - Sustainable packaging, campaign and new strategy discovered by research.
